TIMBER MART Promotes Phil Temple to Vice-President of ERP Solutions

TIMBER MART has promoted their Director of Member Services, Phil Temple, to the new role of vice-president, ERP Solutions, effective immediately. In his role, Mr. Temple will lead national and regional initiatives to drive member adoption and engagement with TIMBER MART’s ERP solution and related systems which will be aimed at growing members’ businesses and helping them succeed.
“Phil brings to the role more than three decades of management, sales, retail operations, and purchasing experience in the building materials industry—much of which he acquired here at TIMBER MART,” says Bernie Owens, president and CEO of TIMBER MART. “His deep understanding of our members’ businesses, combined with his leadership and industry expertise, will be invaluable as he takes on this new role supporting the success of our organization and that of our members.”
Mr. Temple joined TIMBER MART in 2007 and has held a variety of positions since then, including building materials buyer, category manager, prairie sales manager, and regional director of Member Services for Western Canada. Most recently, he served as TIMBER MART’s director of Member Services, where he worked closely with TIMBER MART’s regional directors of Member Services and dealers across the country. In his new role, he will report directly to TIMBER MART’s president and CEO, Bernie Owens and continue to be based in Calgary.
