Frank Danch receives Golden Hammer Award

The LBMAO recently had the privilege of attending a special award ceremony for one of our own hardworking retail directors. Frank Danch of Frank’s Home Building Centre in Port Colborne was awarded his prestigious Golden Hammer Award.
This is an award presented by Home Hardware and the National Hardware & Paint Association to a retailer who has been involved the hardware industry for 50 years. Frank Danch started working for his father at the store in November 1973. The store is where he met his wife, Kim.
Ken Cressman, the Hamilton/Niagara district sales and operations manager from Home Hardware, was on hand to present the award to Frank. The award for a lifetime of work was celebrated with many of the Danch family who work in the store as well as the staff and other guests.
Congratulations to Frank who has been a long-time supporter of the LBMAO and who has served on our board of directors since 2005!
