Located in Sainte-Julienne, QC, independent hardware and building material retailer, Arthur Rivest Inc. (Arthur Rivest) joins TIMBER MART to maintain their independence and to benefit from the group’s national buying power, Spancan connection and LBM distribution centre in Saint-Nicolas, QC.

Arthur Rivest Inc. began as a sawmill business in 1950 and has been tailored to their local market since then to include hardware and building materials. The sawmill was first opened by Arthur Rivest, and was subsequently handed down to generations after him where today the hardware and building material business is owned by his grandchildren, Michel Ricard and Nathalie Fortin and managed by his great grand-daughter, Marie-Michèle Ricard. Today, Arthur Rivest Inc. provides their customers with a wide assortment of hardware and building materials including flooring, lighting, paint and seasonal products. The business employs a team of 20 staff and houses multiple buildings on the property, including a 12,000-square-foot store, a 4,800-square-foot warehouse and a 2,400-square-foot garage.
