TIMBER MART Appoints New Regional Director for Atlantic Canada

TIMBER MART has appointed Kevin Guest as their new Regional Director of Member Services for Atlantic Canada. Effective in his role as of September 27, 2021, Mr. Guest is responsible for recruiting new members as well ensuring that TIMBER MART’s members in Atlantic Canada receive competitive advantage through all of the group’s programs and services.

“Kevin has over 35 years of experience in sales, marketing and operations within the building materials industry and holds strong relationships within the dealer community in Atlantic Canada,” says Jon Irwin, Vice-President of Member Services. “We look forward to seeing our members in Atlantic Canada strengthen their relationships with Kevin and benefit from his deep knowledge of both the supplier and retail side of the business.”

Mr. Guest began his career in the building materials industry in 1983 at Builders Market and went from there to Reynolds Metals Company. By 1989, he joined Alcan Building Products as a sales representative. He built on his sales, marketing and operations experience with a diverse variety of suppliers since then, including: Roper Windows, Gentek Building Products and TrueFoam. Mr. Guest currently sits on the Atlantic Building Supply Dealers Association’s (ABSDA) Board of Directors.

Mr. Guest will report directly to TIMBER MART’s Vice-President of Member Services, Jon Irwin, and be based out of TIMBER MART’s office in Dartmouth, Nova Scotia.
