After 20 years of dedicated service to Marwood/Cape Cod, Peter Rempel, Technical Sales for Cape Cod Siding, is setting his sights on a well-deserved retirement and will be spending more time on his favourite pastimes and with his family.
Peter started his career in the building industry at the early age of 13 working for his father’s construction company. After graduating from high-school he went on to the College of New Caledonia in Prince George, British Columbia. After graduation he came back to the building industry and started his own construction company. He stayed in the industry building everything from custom homes to large multi-unit and commercial projects.
His career eventually took him into the sales end of the building industry and he ended up working for MacMillan Bloedel, Goodfellow and Weyerhaueser, specializing in exterior claddings. His career path eventually took him to Marwood/Cape Cod Siding and he used his knowledge and experience to help build and grow the wood siding business for the Cape Cod Siding Division of Marwood.
