Aaron Gilmoure Named New LBM Procurement Manager
TIMBER MART welcomes new LBM Procurement Manager for Ontario, Aaron Gilmoure to their procurement team. Mr. Gilmoure will be responsible for negotiating regional building material buying programs, assisting in the development and organization of TIMBER MART’s flyer program and national buying show, as well as supporting TIMBER MART’s national network of hardware and building material dealers.

"Aaron brings both a long tenure and great diversity of industry experience to our group that our members will benefit from," says Randy Martin, vice-president of procurement for TIMBER MART. "We welcome Aaron to our team and look forward to seeing his valuable industry experience, knowledge and negotiation skills contribute towards our programs and, thus, our members’ competitive advantage."

Mr. Gilmoure has over 20 years of experience in the building material industry. He has held sales and management positions within various organizations on both the retail and vendor sides of the industry. He holds a Sales, Marketing and Broadcasting Diploma from Loyalist College in Belleville, ON and is formally trained in sales negotiation. Mr. Gilmoure is based out of TIMBER MART’s office in Vaughan, ON and reports directly to TIMBER MART’s Vice-President of Procurement, Randy Martin.
New Commodity Trader, Gary Barrault Joins TIMBER MART 
TIMBER MART expands their lumber-trading team in the Prairies with new Commodity Trader, Gary Barrault. Mr. Barrault joins a team of experienced TIMBER MART lumber traders positioned in British Columbia, Ontario, Quebec and Atlantic Canada and reports directly to TIMBER MART’s Vice-President of Distribution and Trading, John Morrissey. He will be responsible for trading oriented strand board (OSB), plywood, spruce and commodity products as well as developing TIMBER MART’s pressure-treated lumber programs in the Prairie Provinces.

"Gary is a welcome addition to our lumber-trading team; his joining completes our national network of TIMBER MART lumber traders across Canada which means that now all of our members from coast-to-coast will benefit from this service," says John Morrissey, vice-president of distribution and trading for TIMBER MART. "We look forward to seeing his experience and well-established TIMBER MART dealer relationships benefit the development of our lumber programs and contribute to our members’ competitive advantage."

Mr. Barrault has over 25 years of experience in the building material industry where he has held a variety of operations and retail-management positions within various organizations, including North American Lumber.
