Castle Holds AGM
 The 2016 Castle Annual General Meeting took place March 16-19th in picturesque Palm Springs, California. As always the Castle AGM was action packed and blended business, family and fun into one unforgettable experience. Thought-provoking business sessions, nightly events, exciting adventures, excursions and some much needed down-time to enjoy family and friends - there was something for everyone to enjoy.Castle AGM guests arrived on Wednesday enjoying a Welcome Reception while catching up with some old friends. The Omni 5th Fairway was the setting for the "Get Acquainted" Evening Reception where AGM guests enjoyed a gourmet meal, hot air balloon rides and fun and games for the entire family. The beautiful backdrop was the perfect setting to officially kick off the Castle Annual General Meeting. The Living Desert Zoo Gardens played host to this year’s Fun Night Excursion. Early birds had the opportunity to walk the Zoo gardens and tour the animal and plant exhibits. Later that evening, the rest of the group arrived at the Desert Zoo Village Watutu for a lovely evening including a gourmet dinner, special animal guests and musical entertainment. Castle AGM guests had the opportunity to participate in one of four different Friday Fun Day excursions: Golf; a jeep and hiking tour; a tram ride and celebrity home tour; or a day at the Children’s Museum. An incredible experience was had by all, whatever their fancy! Castle held its Annual General Meeting on Saturday morning attended by Castle members and their staff from across Canada. John Austin and Sons of Kinmount, ON received a recognition award for their 25 year anniversary with Castle Building Centres Group. O Coderre et Fils Ltee, of St-Jacques, QC also received a 25 Year recognition award, accepted by Ken Crombie of Hudson Hardware on their behalf.
