YIPPEEEEEEEE!
It appears that the NDP won’t support the Liberals in their May 1 budget (thank goodness) and the government will call an election. It’s about time! The budget certainly did not address the burgeoning cost of government and would have added significantly more debt, taxing those who are already at the highest tax level, increasing costs of government through expanding the bureaucracy. Public sector unions loved the budget but the balance of us who foot the bill would only have our taxes go up with no commitment to reduce costs. Can you imagine the Liberals managing a pension fund....the multimillions of dollars on consulting fees - the administrators of the pension fund who would have made the sunshine list! We now have an opportunity to make change! Ask the tough questions of your candidates and be involved for the sake of our province and our future!
