Chalifour Canada Holds Third Annual Retailer Buying Expo
 October 5, 2013 (London, ON) – With more than 120,000 sq. ft. of the hottest buys and pallet deals of the year, Chalifour Canada’s third annual Retailer Buying Expo took place October 4 and 5 at Place Bonaventure, in Montreal, QC, with a full house of over 1,800 retailer and vendor attendees gathered from across Canada for the show.Featuring a 5,500 square foot Store on the Floor that boasted 55 planograms and a fully merchandised light cloud, the show drew over 760 dealers, who were eager to take advantage of the unbeatable prices, and to vie for a chance to win a brand new 2013 Ford F-150. In addition to a 2,500 square foot Plumbing and Bath Showroom, and a 2,000 square foot Outdoor Living Patio Showcase, furnishing the show floor were 260 booths from hardware and LBM companies, whose representatives numbered over 900. As well, a new Paint Essentials program provided plenty of innovative ideas, with more than 20 new planograms for the category. On Thursday night, the event commenced with a welcome reception at Place Bonaventure. The Expo officially opened the following morning at 9 am. The Friday evening program included Dealer and Vendor Awards, recognizing outstanding retailers and top suppliers.
