Hardware Merchandising Appoints New Editor
 Stephen Dempsey, publisher of Hardware Merchandising, is pleased to announce that Lori Smith has been appointed editor of the magazine. Lori brings great publishing and retail experience to Hardware Merchandising. She spent 22 years with Gifts and Tablewares magazine, a business-to-business publication covering the gift, home, housewares and tableware categories for Canadian retailers. At G&T, she worked as an assistant editor and associate editor before being appointed editor in 1999. Lori’s mandate at Hardware Merchandising is to continue the magazine’s 124-year-old tradition of delivering timely, quality editorial to its readers. In addition, she will be developing the magazine’s online presence through its new website, www.hardwaremagazine.ca, as well as video and social media initiatives.
