CGC Introduces SHEETROCK® Brand Interior Glass-Mat Liner Panel

CGC Inc. announced the introduction of SHEETROCK® Interior Glass-Mat Liner Panel, available now across Canada. This high-performance, mould and water resistant glass-mat panel is for use in shaft wall systems and gypsum fire wall systems.

The SHEETROCK® Interior Glass-Mat Liner Panel has improved mould, mildew and water resistance compared to standard liners. The mould-resistant core allows the panels to be exposed to the weather for up to 12 months after application. Installation is dry and quick via a simple score-and-snap process, eliminating the need for sawing or special tools. Panels are 1" (25.4 mm) thick x 24" (610 mm) wide and available in 8' and 10' standard lengths, with other lengths available by special order. Each panel weighs approximately 4 lbs/sq.ft.

SHEETROCK® Interior Glass-Mat Liner Panels are CUL Classified and ULC listed for fire resistance, surface burning characteristics and non-combustibility. Comprehensive product and system testing ensures long-term performance and safety. They are guaranteed for five years against manufacturing defects and have a 12-month limited-exposure warranty.
