Sustainability Spotlight

In November 2020, LG&E / KU submitted Case No. 2020-00349 And Case No. 2020-00350 to the Public Service Commission for gas and electric rate increases. If the proposed increases are accepted, there will be a significant impact to most commercial electricity users. Health care facilities are under enormous budget pressures and unaccounted utility increases could negatively impact our missions.

The Kentucky Society of Healthcare Engineers (KSHE) can help. KSHE’s free energy assessment can help project what the impact of the rate increases mean to individual health care facilities based on their utility rate.

To request the energy assessment, visit the KSHE.org homepage and select “ENERGY ASSESSMENT.”
