Owensboro Health in Owensboro, Kentucky is seeking qualified applicants for our Senior Director of Facilities position. The Senior Director of Facilities will lead the strategic planning, development, and management of all aspects related to the physical plant and facilities of the system. This role involves overseeing the full Environment of Care, infrastructure assets, Construction, Maintenance & Engineering, Emergency Management, Safety & Security of facilities to ensure they meet operational needs and regulatory requirements. The Senior Director will collaborate with cross-functional teams throughout the health system in order to align facilities management with organizational goals and objectives. Responsibilities include team leadership, budgeting, forecasting, and implementing cost-effective solutions for facility projects. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in facilities management, strong leadership skills, and the ability to drive continuous improvement initiatives. This position requires a strategic thinker who can develop innovative solutions to optimize facility operations and enhance the patient and team member experience. A successful Senior Director of Facilities will effectively manage vendor relationships, negotiate contracts, and ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations. Regular interaction with system and facility Senior Leadership is all in a day’s work.
