Hey neighbors,

This is Rick Tinsley and I would like to invite you and your chapter members to our Spring Conference and Expo in Bristol, TN at Bristol Regional Medical Center on June 5-7.

I have attached the agenda and sponsorship info if you would like to pass along to your healthcare and associate members. All of our speakers have presented nationally including Gary Slack, Ken Gregory, Leo Old, and our own Region 3 Rep Michael Roberts will speak on Friday. We expect 40+ local and national vendors to set up a booth to provide services and products to help facilities stay in compliance, safe, and functional.

To register, go to https://tennashe.org and click on the meeting link. Out of state attendees will register as THEA Professional Members and then choose Out of State Attendee. The registration fee is $150 and will include educational sessions, meeting meals, and all entertainment. We are expecting to get 11 ASHE credit hours for certification renewal.

There is also a hotel link on the registration page. Registration needs to be done by May 1 to get the conference rate and secure a room.

I look forward to meeting y'all and your members in person at our conference and/or the ASHE Annual Conference in Baltimore.

Thanks,

Rick Tinsley CHFM, CHEP, SASHE, FTHEA, THEA President

The orientation of technicians, outside vendors and contractors in healthcare is not only a safety issue, it is required for accreditation with organizations such as The Joint Commission. Safe Day One is an online healthcare facilities orientation & safety training. It’s not enough to be safe one day; we must be safe day one.
