Hello Kentucky!

As we enter this wonderful season of gifts and giving, giving thanks is at the top of my list.

First, I am thankful for the amazing life, family and freedom God has allowed me to experience. Moreover, I do realize not everyone in this world can claim this blessing. For this, I am solemnly grateful.

As I travel down the path of life, I am thankful for the chance to make a positive impact in the lives of others. Working in healthcare has provided daily opportunities to assist people in their time of need. For this, I am forever appreciative.

You, as the membership of KSHE, have given me the privilege to serve on an awesome Board of Directors as your President. You have provided support and have trusted us to lead your organization over the past two years. With the hard work of many, Kentucky has risen in the ranks and become a contender on a national level. Your faith in me has been humbling. For this, I am truly thankful.

As we move into a new year, I cannot help but be excited to be a part of your new Board of Directors. Under the leadership of our new President, Joe Taylor, KSHE will experience success and growth we once only dreamed. With your support and trust, Joe will lead the Kentucky Society for Healthcare Engineers to the next level…to be the top chapter in our nation! So hold onto your seats as KSHE is in for an exciting time of progress!

As we move through this busy and hectic season, let us take time to remember what is important in life and be thankful. The daily God given blessings we often take for granted, the many opportunities to help others and the chance to be an example.

I hope you and your family have a very Merry Christmas season.

With sincere gratitude,
Jack Merrill, President KSHE
