Hello Kentucky,

It has only been a few weeks since the ASHE Technical Conference in Seattle Washington. The event was a success with attendance estimated at over 4,000 participants representing all 50 states and several countries. I would not be exaggerating to say the conference center was a “Sea of People”. Always a good venue to learn the latest in technology, regulatory compliance, operational management, energy conservation and much more. It is also a good time to meet up with old friends and meet new, develop contacts and resources to help us perform our jobs effectively.

This year I left the event with a huge smile on my face. I was so very proud to receive …..on your behalf –

KSHE will be hosting the 2018 Healthcare Coalition Conference at the Owensboro Convention Center, September 18-20. Our line-up of Top-Notch Education is better than ever! New educational tracks will include a hands-on “Tool-Belt” program for front line staff and an “Emergency Management” program geared for educating facilities in preparedness…both at a reduced rate as space allows.  There will also be a regulatory compliance track with the Joint Commissions own James Kendig and much-much more. Your Safety, Security, Materials Management people will also have many top rated educational opportunities available at this venue.  It is time to register yourself a staff for the very best education your healthcare dollars can buy! I hope to see you there…. you will not be disappointed. Visit kshe.org for registration.

As I end this newsletter, I want to sincerely thank you all for the awesome opportunity to represent Kentucky here and in Seattle. I am still smiling!
