“The three hardest things to say are:
1.       I was wrong
2.       I need help
3.       Worcestershire sauce

You’re laughing right? I saw this a while ago on my FB feed, and it made me laugh out loud. I hope it did the same for you. Laughter is particularly important these days!

Thank you, Kentucky, for working so hard to keep our facilities and our patients and staff safe and secure. You’re doing a terrific job. I am particularly grateful to be a member of KSHE during these trying times. My membership and active participation have put me in touch with facilities experts across the Commonwealth; many of whom are nationally recognized leaders. When I need help and I’m not quite sure how to solve a particularly difficult or unique problem, I pick up the phone or send an email to a KSHE member. Always, if they can’t help me, they know someone who can.

 We’ve got some exciting things coming in the next few months that you’ll read about in this month’s newsletter:

  • ASHE Board Elections in August
  • KSHE Board Elections for the next 2-year term will be held beginning in late September;
  • The ASHE Annual meeting is happening in early October
  • 2020 Healthcare Coalition Conference (Celebrating Healthcare Heroes!) will be October 22nd – 24th
  • And more…

 So read on; stay safe, and keep those around you safe too. God bless you all for the selfless way you do your jobs every day. You are ESSENTIAL!

 And oh, by the way…CLICK HERE to find out how to correctly pronounce “Worcestershire sauce.”
