Greetings KSHE Members,

Seems the COVID-19 is consuming much of our attention and time these days. Given that it is either in its early stages or may possibly have a minimal impact, everyone will continue to keep at least one eye on its progress. In the meantime, life, work, and education goes on! Spring will be with us very soon along with a number of opportunities for education and training. Learn about what we have coming up in March:

CHFT Webinar  March 4 – Launched officially on February 17, 2020, the Certified Healthcare Facilities Technician (CHFT) Certification webinar will review content of the certification along with an overview of the engagement platform and future planned certification and training opportunities. There will also be a chance to win a paid for CHFT Exam Seat. Go to www.IHFEA.com to register.

CHC March 6th – To be held at Baptist Health Lexington. If your earning your CHC for the first time or renewing, plan to join us for our first of three offerings. Go to www.KSHE.org to register.

Safe Day One – This online comprehensive training course is designed for contractors and in-house technicians alike.  It also brings the benefit of preparing you for the ASHE Certified Healthcare Physical Environment Worker certification (primarily targeted towards front line contractors) and it is now recognized as a credit hour for the OCTC Healthcare Facilities Technician academic certificate.
