President's Message

Greetings KSHE:

As I’m writing this message daytime temperatures in western Kentucky have dropped into the low 80’s; night time temperatures are down into the 60’s and it looks like most of the Commonwealth will be getting a week or more of sunshine – including the upcoming Labor Day weekend. We all work hard every day to take care of patients here in Kentucky. I’m thinking that a few days of playing hard this weekend is in order. Please be safe. Enjoy your family time.  Appreciate all your blessings.  I know I sure do.

We are less than three (3) weeks away from our premier event of the year, the 2019 Healthcare Coalition Conference. This year’s conference is being held in Louisville, KY at the brand new Kentucky International Conventions Center and the adjacent Hyatt Regency Louisville. It’s been eight (8) years since the Derby City has played host to our HCC, and already it appears that our sponsorships and our registrations will meet or BEAT expectations. There will be 90+ premier industry exhibitors sharing their products and services. There will be between 250 and 300 registrants from across the region.

Our keynote speakers, panelists, and Tool Belt instructors guarantee a high quality educational experience for all attendees. There will even be an ACHE accredited panel discussion sponsored by the ACHE-Kentucky Chapter and the Kentucky Hospital Association.

Please join the KSHE Board of Directors on September 17-19 as we’re “Off to the Races” in Louisville.

Looking forward to seeing you all there.

Best Wishes.
