KSHE Membership Update

Greetings, KSHE Chapter Members! This is my first communication out to you as your VP of Membership and I am very excited to serve you in this role. This year, we have some additional professionals supporting our membership activities. You may know them by their active participation in our chapter or previous leadership roles.
They are:
At Large - Membership Director
- Jennifer Christmann - University of Kentucky Healthcare System
- Bill Eckenfels - University of Louisville Hospital
Together, we will be implementing plans and initiatives for membership that are direct support of the overall strategic vision of our Chapter President, Joe Taylor.
In this segment, I would like to introduce you to a few of our initiatives and outline ways that you can help grow our membership. Remember that we have a couple of categories of membership: KSHE Members (FM Professionals) and Associate Members (our vendor partners).
Note for our KSHE Members:
Under KSHE Board leadership, this year we have set a few goals to help us grow our membership. Among those goals are engaging with our existing membership to ensure that they have included all eligible members under their facility membership. Remember that the membership is now tied to the facility size and can have multiple members (sub-accounts) under that one membership.
Here is where you can help: Review your hospital membership sub-accounts and add all staff that would benefit from the membership.
Another goal is increasing our membership with new hospitals and Associate Members (our vendor partners).
Here is where you can help: If you know of a non-member hospital and have peers there, please encourage them to join. We have a list of non-member hospitals that we are sending communications to but advocacy from peers is the best option. If you know of a vendor partner that is not a member of KSHE, please encourage them to join.
Note for our Associate Members:
We have the same goal for sub-accounts under a single Associate Membership. If you will recall, under KSHE Board leadership, we have cleared the way for unlimited membership (sub-accounts) under one Associate Membership.
Here is where you can help: Review your Associate Membership Sub-accounts and add all staff that would benefit from the membership. We would love to have their participation and support at all of our KSHE Events.
