With less than thirty (30) days until our annual conference in Owensboro, the slate of nominees we will present to the KSHE Membership at Thursday’s 8/20/18 Annual Business Meeting is nearly finalized. Unless additional nominees are put forward by the membership before the end of the month, it appears that there will be six (6) first time nominees on the 2019-2020 Board ballot. This is VERY EXCITING! It will be a very talented and very diverse group of men and women from which to choose.

Since Membership Value & Growth along with Education will be strategic initiatives for the next few years, the Board is recommending the addition of two (2) At Large Membership Directors, and one (1) At Large Education Director. These new ALD’s will work hand-in-hand with the Membership Vice-President and the Education Vice-President to make sure the Board stays laser-focused on serving the KSHE members.

Elections will occur electronically, and voting will open around the first of October. We expect that all nominees will be attending the 2018 HCC in Owensboro where you can meet them face-to-face. You will also be able to go to the KSHE website and find each nominee’s brief bio, their picture, and some information telling you why they think they deserve your vote.

The Kentucky Society of Healthcare Engineers (KSHE) is one of the few Platinum Elite ASHE chapters; one of the top three (3) Energy to Care (E2C) chapters in the country; a leader in the provision of current, high quality education both nationally and throughout the state. We are financially stable; growing; and innovative. These things only come when members are active and board members are committed. We absolutely have these things in the current crop of KSHE Board Nominees.
