Volunteers of the Month

November

Katie Schillare is the Volunteer of the Month for November. Katie is the Director of Special Events at the Arvest Bank Theatre at the Midland. Above and beyond being the host venue sponsor for our October program, Katie also served as a volunteer for this program. Katie suggested and secured Michael Boltzman, Vice President of Special Events and Entertainment for AEG Live to be the speaker for the event, and she helped coordinate all event details, twice! Our October program just happened to fall on the same date as the Royals World Series Victory Parade so we redid the program in December, again with Katie leading the way. She also spent a lot of time personally inviting other industry professionals to join us for this KCMPI education program. Thank you Katie for everything you did for the November (and December) education program!

 

 

December

Janet O'Hagan is the Volunteer of the Month for December. Janet is a Senior Sales Manager at the Kansas City Convention Center. Janet was the Program Lead for the October Education Event at the Kansas City Convention Center. She was in charge of finding the panel and coordinating all details of the program. It was a great educational event. Thank you and congratulations Janet!

 

January

Mike Gehrs is the January Volunteer of the Month. Mike went above and beyond just volunteering for the Dine Around in September. He secured all the venues and coordinated all of the details of the evening and brought back to life one of our most popular events. Mike also generously donated wine for the December Wine and Chocolate Pairing meeting. Thank you, Mike, for all you continue to do for KCMPI!
