Did you know that we have tutorial videos to assist with functions in the member area on nacas.org? These short videos are great for new members and the Primary Contact at your member institutions. Learn how to add or delete members, or edit the institution's extended profile, which appears in the NACAS Marketplace Institution Exchange. You can even renew your membership right through this area of the website. After you view the videos, simply click or tap "Login" on the site menu.

 

Last month, a select group of members participated in the NACAS Leadership Series, consisting of three sessions over a 3 week span. The group read The Leadership Challenge by international bestselling authors and longtime research partners Kouzes & Posner and participated in guided discussions about leadership, data-driven decision making, and what's next for auxiliary operations.

This half-day, virtual program is geared toward those who plan on taking the CASP exam with our remote option. Candidates who apply prior to November 31 can test within the December 1-31 window, or in 2023. Attendees will get access to resources to help master content areas, tips for decreasing test anxiety, and have the opportunity to bond with other auxiliary professionals who are on the path to certification.
Join key volunteers from the NACAS Certification Commission as the content outline is discussed, as well as an in-depth review of retired exam questions to understand key concepts and terms. Individuals with an open CASP application are eligible to join at no cost. All participation is welcome!

The Transportation Services team at UC Davis took no respite from the COVID-19-induced reduced operations. Instead, they took the opportunity to invert the Campus Parking paradigm by UC Davis, developing and implementing a Daily Rate parking program that eliminates most monthly and annual permit options. The entire business model had to be entirely rethought and adapted. We describe this journey as a curved roadway with several lane changes over the past year—and one significant detour.
