Now more than ever, flexibility and resilience are crucial as we adapt to a new, changing environment. Join us on October 7, 2020, for our next Business Partner Forum to learn how you can continue to grow in your partnerships with a firsthand look at the pain points campuses are still experiencing, how their fall reopening plans have worked (or not), and hopes for the spring semester.

The goal of this event is to give you insights and information to be successful in partnering with campuses. By getting first-hand insights, YOU can show up in partnership already prepared with solutions to the challenges schools are facing. Ask questions, put in the work, and come ready this fall with future-forward ideas and a stronger campus relationship that is ready to put student success at the forefront.

The world as we know it is changing — The NACAS Foundation is changing along with it. Historically, most of our fundraising events were held in person. Enter COVID-19. We believe the work of the Foundation is more important now than ever before. As students return to campus, they face a whole new level of uncertainty. Will they have access to safe and clean housing? Will they be able to afford groceries and toiletries? Research shows that these financial challenges are not new, but they are certainly heightened by the pandemic.

The NACASCARES Annual Giving Campaign includes several virtual fundraising events that support the mission of the NACAS Foundation: To position auxiliary professionals, the higher education market, and students for success. Donate today to support new industry initiatives, including the Campus Care Grant, virtual education experiences, and awards & scholarships.

We are always looking for skilled writers and interesting stories about the latest trends in the auxiliary services industry. Our College Services Winter issue production is underway, but we are in the beginning stages of planning for the Spring 2021 issue.

The theme will be Emergency Planning and Crisis Communication. Reflecting one-year-out from the onset of the coronavirus pandemic, what lessons have you learned about health safety preparedness? What new plans did you implement and how did you communicate them to your students, faculty, and staff? Tell us your story!

If you are interested in submitting an article or pitch, please contact NACAS Marketing Manager Abby Hazekamp at abby.hazekamp@nacas.org.
