Over $5,000 raised at LTM to support the Education Foundation
Thanks to a challenge issued by Teri Bump of American Campus Communities, NACAS leaders donated over $5,000 to support the NACAS Education Foundation at the annual Leadership Team Meeting (LTM) in February. By the end of the meeting, all members in attendance had made a contribution to the foundation. The foundation board would like to thank Teri and the members of the leadership team, and challenges all NACAS members to follow their lead by making a tax-deductible contribution to the NACAS Education Foundation.

Fundraising Update: The Flip-a-Coin
Everyone who has attended a NACAS Annual Conference and/or a NACAS Regional Conference within the past few years is most likely familiar with the NACAS Education Foundation Flip-a-Coin fundraiser. This year, at the NACAS South Regional Conference, the goal was to raise more money at the Flip-a-Coin than was raised at the 2015 conference. Guess what? It happened. At the 2015 NACAS South Annual Conference $1,620 was raised and this year the total was $2,420. Thanks to Barnes & Noble @ Georgia Tech for donating an iPad Air 2 for the contest. Congratulations to this year’s winner David Amorine.

Are you attending the NACAS Central/West Regional Conference or the NACAS East Regional Conference? Make sure you purchase your beads! Last year, NACAS members and business partners contributed nearly $6,000 at the regional conferences through the flip-a-coin fundraiser. Together, let’s see if we can exceed last year’s total! Many thanks, in advance, for your participation and support of the foundation.

The NACAS Education Foundation
As you know, contributions to NACAS Education Foundation support the future of your profession through online webinars and virtual roundtables, institutes and scholarships, research and awards, CASP and, most recently, the emerging professionals program. So if you’ve participated any of these, you’ve benefitted from the support of the foundation too!
