Nearly 2,000 ISTAT members and guests gathered around the globe to kick off the holiday season at the ISTAT Holiday Receptions. The events took place 2 December in six locations: Dublin, London, Miami, New York, Singapore and Tokyo. The largest event, the New York Holiday Reception at Inside Park at St. Bart's, welcomed almost 500 for an evening of networking and holiday cheer. View photos from all six Holiday Receptions.

Congratulations to the first class of ISTAT University (ISTAT U) graduates. The celebration took place at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University (ERAU), Daytona Beach on 1 December. The ISTAT Foundation, in collaboration with ERAU, Daytona Beach, has delivered a specially designed one-year aviation finance and leasing program. Starting in fall 2016, ISTAT U will be available to qualified students from around the world by way of a distance learning, web-based course offering. Students from Asia, to Europe, to Latin America and everywhere in between will have the ability to register for ISTAT U.

The ISTAT Foundation Roundtable Program is the major gifts program of the Foundation. Support the Foundation and our mission to provide funds for scholarships, educational programs and grants to qualified individuals and institutions that promote the advancement of commercial aviation and humanitarianism. The ISTAT Foundation Internship Program assists in the development of aviation-focused college students desiring to become productive members in the aircraft trading industry and generates qualified employment candidates for ISTAT member companies. The opportunity to post positions for internships being offered in summer 2016 is now available.  As we’ve previously announced, Ron Pietrzak will retire at the end of December after 10 years of distinguished service as the executive director of ISTAT and the ISTAT Foundation.
