Have you recently worked on a project that focuses on fragmentation by blasting? This is your chance to get your research published.

Submit your paper, including tables, graphics and images to the editors-in-chief at the link below. Be sure to state the name of the paper and the purpose of publication in the journal when submitting.

Edited and reviewed by expert researchers, industry professionals and academics, Blasting and Fragmentation presents contemporary analysis of engineering practices as related to explosives application to rock. It is published twice a year.

BHP Group Ltd on Wednesday reported a near 2% dip in third-quarter iron ore production, but said full-year output is expected to be at the upper end of its forecast.

The world’s largest listed miner expects iron ore production at the top end of its 245 million tonnes (Mt) to 255 Mt forecast. Output of the steel-making ingredient from Western Australia on a 100% basis in the three months ended March came in at 66.7 Mt, down from 68 Mt a year earlier.

First quarter gold production increased 457% year-on-year at Oyu Tolgoi, providing a highlight as force majeure, COVID-19 and other difficulties continue to dog the Rio Tinto-operated copper-gold mine in Mongolia. Toronto-listed Turquoise Hill Resources (TRQ), which owns 66% of the mine and is in turn owned 50.8% by Rio, said cross-border concentrate shipments into China had partially resumed in mid-April.
