Black Hills Chapter November meeting highlights

The food was delicious, the speakers were informative and a good time was had by all at the fourth quarter meeting of the Black Hills Chapter ISEE. The meeting was held at the AmericInn Lodge & Suites in Rapid City on Friday, December 6.

Approximately 42 members and guests in attendance. A big thank you goes out to Jim Spanos and Erik Carlson of Buckley Powder Company for sponsoring the meeting.

 

The general meeting included miscellaneous chapter business, a presentation by Justine Sorensen (SDSM&T student member) on her summer explosives internship experiences with Hamm Companies, and a presentation by Doug Hoy (Sayre Associates) on "Construction Blasting: Pipelines, Buildings and Neighbors". After the meeting, a Black Hills Chapter Board of Directors meeting was held.

 

The next Black Hills Chapter Membership Meeting will be Friday, January 31st starting at 6:00 pm at the AmericInn Lodge & Suites (Exit 59) in Rapid City, SD. Elections will be held for chapter officers and Board of Directors at this meeting.
