More than 70 days ago, the U.S. Senate handed President Biden his biggest bipartisan victory yet — an infrastructure bill providing $550 billion in new spending, and $1.2 trillion overall, for highways, transit, water and broadband. ILTA, along with most in industry, supports the infrastructure legislation.

On October 18, 2021, EPA Administrator Michael S. Regan announced the agency’s PFAS Strategic Roadmap, laying out a whole-of-agency approach to addressing PFAS.

Enbridge Inc. announced October 12 that it had closed its $3.0 billion acquisition of the Moda Ingleside Energy Center from Moda Midstream and EnCap Flatrock Midstream. Ingleside has 1.6 million barrels per day loading capacity, and includes 15 million barrels of storage, 100% ownership of the Viola pipeline, and a 20% share of the 670,000 Cactus II pipeline.
