ILTA President Elected to Coast Guard Foundation Board of Trustees

ILTA President Kathryn Clay was elected as part of a new class of trustees to the board of the U.S. Coast Guard Foundation. The Coast Guard Foundation supports projects that enhance the education, wellness and morale of Coast Guard members. Founded in 1969, the Foundation supports the U.S. Coast Guard by funding scholarships and awarding need-based grants to Coast Guard families, including relief in times of natural disaster and tragedy. The Foundation is governed by a Board of Trustees from all parts of the country, who in turn elect a board of Directors to oversee the Foundation. “I am honored to represent the tank and terminals industry as a part of this inspiring and important organization,” Clay said. “In 2020, Coast Guard professionals and their families faced many challenges related to COVID-19, and the Foundation delivered critical support in response.  ILTA and many of its member companies have been strong supporters of the Coast Guard Foundation, and we will continue our commitment to helping it achieve its mission.”
