ILTA to Launch New Symposium Focusing on the Rising Generation of Terminal Industry Professionals

ILTA is excited to launch its inaugural Young Terminal Industry Professionals (Y-TIP) Symposium. We’ll hold the symposium virtually on April 6.  If you are a terminal industry professional, we would love to have you join us – whether you are just starting your terminal career or are a more experienced professional who would like to learn more about recruiting, retaining and supporting the professional development of the rising generation.

The program focuses on the needs of industry professionals aged 35 and younger. The symposium will include:

• A Young Professionals Panel discussing the decision to join the terminal industry, and their goals for contributing to our industry;
• Presentations on steps companies are taking to value and support their Millennial and Generation Y workers; and
• A look at some of the technologies that will shape the terminal industry of the future.

Finally, Warren Wright, a popular speaker from our ILTA conference on generations in the workforce, will address the audience. Wright will present guidance and techniques Millennials and Generation Yers can use to supercharge their communications with Gen Xers and Baby Boomers.
