Interest High in ILTA’s Monthly Terminal Calls

Forty-two ILTA members attended ILTA’s February 17 terminal call industry call, featuring a presentation from Greg Johnson of Lucknow-Highspire Terminals on ILTA’s new industry white paper on VRUs (see brief above). ILTA President Kathryn Clay opened the webinar with a brief discussion of the U.S. COVID vaccination roll-out and how it is affecting the liquid terminals industry. She also walked through the results of a survey of terminal members and company policies related to the vaccine. The call also featured a Washington report by ILTA Vice President of Regulatory Affairs Andrew Wright, who discussed the Biden administration’s energy and environmental policies and how they could impact the energy industry. Wright noted that while Congress and the administration is focused on COVID-19 relief, there is a good chance that an infrastructure package will move to the forefront this spring and summer.
