The CPSI program offers the most comprehensive and up-to-date training on playground safety as well as provides certification for playground safety inspectors.

The 2016 Professional Development School (PDS) will be held November 6-9, 2016 at Eagle Ridge Resort & Spa, 444 Eagle Ridge Drive, Galena, IL 61036. Professional Development School (PDS) is the longest standing educational and networking opportunity offered by Illinois Park and Recreation Association. The tradition of Illinois park and recreation professionals attending Professional Development School goes back many years, creating thousands of graduates. This professional level school provides park and recreation professionals the opportunity to experience a high quality education in a small, student-focused atmosphere.
