Designed with your needs in mind, the Unplug Illinois Transformation Kit is equipped to provide you with the resources, templates, tools and inspiration needed to communicate the value of parks and recreation through education and storytelling.

The Illinois Park and Recreation Foundation (IPRF) has an opening for a new board member. The application is available online by clicking the link below. Applications are due to Mike Clark by July 5 at noon. This new board member will serve out a term ending January 31, 2018 and could run again at that time. IPRF board meetings are held on a monthly basis, typically on the second Friday from 10:00 AM-12:00 PM at the IPRA office in La Grange or board members may choose to call in. If you have questions about this position, feel free to reach out to either IPRF Chair Mike Clark or IPRA Executive Director Debbie Trueblood.

Professional Development
Learn to use Purpose Driven Programming and Evaluation tools developed by presenter, Dr. Keith Fulthorp. These tools will elevate the impact of recreation programs and expedite the efforts of staff utilizing the tools in their daily programming efforts.

Calendar/Upcoming Events
The IPRA Teen Committee wants to invite you and your teens on a Kayak Trip on Wednesday, July 6! Agencies are welcome to sign up their teen camps or offer as a one day teen trip. Two time slots are available, agencies may request a time slot and we will do our best to accommodate requests.
|
The Teen Committee is excited to hold its fifth annual Teen Camp Challenge! The Teen Committee wanted to develop a teen program, targeted at 5th - 8th graders, that would be convenient for teen supervisors to offer as well as bring teens together for a fun and rewarding experience.
