In April of this year, we conducted 14 focus groups around the state to meet with members to find out your needs and how we can better serve you. A few items turned out to be running themes throughout the state. They are a) a need for more networking events, b) a need for mentoring at every level of the profession, and c) more opportunities for young professionals. While each of these items will be included in our new strategic plan which will begin January 1, these particular items are being "fast tracked" to begin before that plan takes effect.
The last seven months have focused a lot of energy on making substantial changes that will bring more value in return for your membership dollars. IPRA's tagline: "Learn. Connect. Inspire." is the Association's driving force behind everything we do to continue to be a relevant industry leader. Education, resources and networking are the IPRA board and staff's top priorities.
