Klyde Warren Park will serve as a central gathering space for Dallas and its visitors to enjoy in the heart of the city. The 5.2-acre deck park will create an urban green space over the existing Woodall Rodgers Freeway between Pearl and St. Paul streets in downtown Dallas. Plans include a performance pavilion, restaurant, a dog park, a children’s park, water features, an area for games and much more.

As I approach the two-month mark in my position as Executive Director at IPRA, I continue to enjoy meeting so many of the members from all over the state. Park and recreation professionals are doing a fantastic job across Illinois in serving our communities, working together and providing opportunities for recreation. The more people I meet, the more I learn about all the ways our members make a difference.
For an organization to be successful it needs active involvement from the membership. IPRA has gone through some difficult years, but now we are moving forward and concentrating on the core values of the organization - Learn. Connect. Inspire. Now is the time to take advantage of all the educational offerings to enhance your professional career.
