It’s election week. I used to get so excited about having the opportunity to vote. I would be the first one at the polls and stay up all night to watch the returns. Now, I’m just excited to get the voting out of the way so I don't have to hear all of the advertisements.
Please join me in congratulating Chair-Elect John Curran, executive director of the Tinley Park District, who was elected by the IPRA Board of Directors to follow LoriKay Paden in 2012. John is a strong leader and will do an excellent job serving the IPRA membership as we continue to move our strategic plan forward.
