As an IPRA Member, we would like to invite you participate in a valuable opportunity.

Students studying parks and recreation are essential to the future success and growth of the parks and recreation field. Their education and experiences will translate into enriching experiences for future generations as new ideas, research and technology emerge. You have the opportunity to invest in the future of a park and recreation professional by donating a gift basket to the Silent Auction at the IAPD/IPRA Annual Soaring to New Heights Conference on January 28-30, 2016.We have a list of suggested baskets or you can create your own.

The Silent Auction is a way in which the Illinois Park and Recreation Foundation (IPRF) raises funds for the Illinois Park and Recreation Student Scholarship Fund. The scholarship fund has been created to give high achieving students the opportunity to attend professional development conferences and workshops. The IPRF provides resources to park and recreation agencies and professionals statewide, and this scholarship is an important aspect of this commitment, as they work toward developing students professionally through networking and education.

We encourage park & recreation agencies, conference exhibitors and members of IPRA to donate a gift basket to the 2016 IPRF Silent Auction. You can also leave the shopping to us - we will accept monetary donations and we will create a basket on your behalf! Donated baskets can be brought to the IPRA office by Monday, January 11, 2016 OR dropped off at the Silent Auction location at the 2016 IAPD/IPRA Conference by noon on Thursday, January 28, 2016.

For more information, and to complete a donation form, please visit: http://www.ilipra.org/silent-auction or contact LoriKay Paden.
