This achievement recognizes government organizations for its comprehensive annual financial report (CAFR) and is the highest form of recognition in the form of governmental accounting and financial reporting. "This is quite an accomplishment for the district with bringing financial business functions in-house just four years ago," said Margaret Resnick, Director of Parks and Recreation. "We are committed to the highest standards throughout our park district, including financial reporting. We encourage the public to take a look and learn more. Our goal is to provide outstanding programs and services to the community, and this plays a critical role."
