At IPRA, the staff are working hard to implement the strategic initiatives for the Association and to find ways to better meet your needs and expectations.

A few quick updates:

• An RFP has been released for IPRA to secure space and relocate its headquarters.  If you are interested in having your agency submit a proposal, please contact me.

• The Membership Communications Committee is working on two RFPs to create a new IPRA brand and website. The goal is to release the RFP’s in the summer and for work to begin in the fall on a new improved website, which will allow IPRA to better communicate with our members as well as to allow our members to have increased access to tools and resources.

• A meeting was held with all Section Directors and IPRA Section Representatives to roll-out the Council of Sections concept.  If you would like additional information regarding this initiative, please give me a call or send me an email.

• The Education Committee is hosting a series of meetings to determine the most meaningful ways to engage our members in quality educational opportunities.  If you would like to provide your thoughts regarding education topics and/or methods for delivering these services, please let me know.  We would love to hear from you.

I hope this update provides you with a quick glimpse of the work that your Association is doing to improve the trainings, programs and services offered to you, our member.  Lastly, IPRA is offering a variety of upcoming webinars and workshops to help you in your current position and in the position you aspire to obtain.  Make sure you check out the calendar and get registered today!
