REACH OUT TO THE NEXT GENERATION... OPPORTUNITIES TO CONNECT WITH STUDENTS!

Speed Mentoring, Friday, January 27 from 3:00 pm – 4:15 pm, Lake Michigan, 8th Floor Each student participant will have the opportunity to have seven different conversations.  Professionals will be divided into ten different categories.  Students will choose which category of professional to speak with for each round when they enter.  This will provide better opportunities for professionals and students to connect in meaningful ways. If you are interested in participating, please let Mike Selep (mike@ilipra.org) know by Jan. 21 as well as your first and second choice of categories.  He will send you a confirmation at the end of the week.

Student Resume Review, Friday, January 27 from 1:30 pm – 2:30 pm, Grand Tradition, Lobby Level (NEW THIS YEAR!) Kevin Romejko, Palatine Park District Human Resources Manager, will lead this session.  Professionals and students will review the student’s resume together and will correspond over the course of the month following conference to enhance it.  These resumes will be shared with the membership in early March and divided into two categories – those seeking internships and those seeking full time employment.   This session will serve as a great opportunity for networking and connect talented students to agencies.
