During the last academic year, there were 819,644 international students in the U.S. according to IIE’s Open Doors report. The number of international students enrolling for the first time at a U.S. institution increased 9.8% over the previous year to a new high of 250,920 students. In addition, according to the U.S Department of Commerce, international students contributed over $24 billion to the U.S. Economy in 2012/2013.
IIE’s U.S. Higher Education Fairs provide accredited U.S. colleges and universities an opportunity to meet with thousands of students interested in studying in the United States.
