Thanks to friends and donors like you, IIE is taking action to respond to critical needs in education. For this year’s #GivingTuesday on December 1, we have dedicated a campaign to "Stand with Students in Crisis" and need your support to help raise awareness, engagement and funds for Syrian students so they can continue their education.

Investing in education for individuals displaced by the crisis in Syria may be the most important action that any of us can now take to preserve a generation of students whose continued learning is essential for their country's future and human capital.

There are more than 100,000 university-qualified refugees currently scattered throughout the Middle East and Europe. Many more remain in Syria unable to continue their studies. If we don’t support these individuals, we risk losing a generation of students who want nothing more than to learn so that one day they can contribute to rebuilding their country.

With your support, IIE is providing scholarships to displaced Syrian university students and increasing Syrian refugee access to education at universities around the world.

Please Stand With Students in Crisis this #GivingTuesday:
With gratitude and best wishes from all of us at IIE.
