The Institute of International Education is exploring the potential for a new scholarship opportunity that would help Syrian students study at U.S. higher education institutions and continue their education in a safe environment. We are urgently trying to assess how many U.S. colleges and universities would be willing to accept at least one Syrian student and waive tuition and fees under this special scholarship program. If your institution is interested in exploring this potential new scholarship program, please complete the very short survey as soon as possible. We hope to receive initial replies BY TOMORROW, if possible. We will consider your response as an initial indication that your institution might be willing to participate in this initiative. However, your responses will not be binding.
This new scholarship opportunity which would be funded by a donor, would cover the following costs:
  • International Travel to the U.S
  • Room & Board
  • Living Stipend
Given the extraordinary emergency affecting Syrian students, we hope that many U.S. institutions will be able to participate in this important initiative to provide life-saving opportunities for Syrian students.
