We are pleased to share with you an article by Dr. Allan Goodman, IIE President and CEO, that was published in the Huffington Post today about a new award to provide life-saving fellowships to 10 threatened scholars in fields such as painting, dance, music, architecture, and the performing arts.

We encourage you to read the full article on the Huffington Post site, and to use the buttons at the top of the column to "Like" and "Share" this news with friends and associates through Facebook, Twitter and e-mail, to help spread the word about this important assistance that is available to threatened art scholars worldwide.

The new Janet Hennessey Dilenschneider Scholar Rescue Award in the Arts is a part of IIE’s Scholar Rescue Fund. This new award has been made possible through the generosity of IIE Trustees Robert L. Dilenschneider and Mark A. Angelson, who created it in honor of Mr. Dilenschneider’s wife, Jan, who is a painter.

Please visit the IIE-Scholar Rescue Fund website for more information on how to nominate candidates or host a scholar.
