Toyota’s top U.S. executive says car sales nationwide have nearly bottomed out and his company will keep making them despite a dramatic shift to trucks and SUVs. U.S. CEO Jim Lentz told the Detroit Economic Club Wednesday that car sales fell below 30 percent of sales last month, and he thinks that’s close to the bottom.

Waymo, a subsidiary of Alphabet, began testing cars in Chandler, Ariz., a suburb of Phoenix, in early 2017. Now it is launching to the public under the name Waymo One. In the coming weeks, a growing number of Chandler residents beyond the Early Rider Program will be ale to hail Waymos.

Mister Car Wash has announced its acquisition of Prime Shine Car Wash, a chain of 19 express stores based in Modesto, Calif. Prime Shine customers can expect the business to continue to operate as normal following the purchase.

Five Star Car Wash, a new, fully automated car wash has opened in South Point, Ohio. Owner Scott Hutchison says the new tunnel wash takes less than three minutes to wash a car and everyone that uses the wash gets to use our vacuums for free.
