Swiveling seats? Movies projected across the windshield? Social media feeds on the windows? As driverless car technology develops, companies, design institutes and researchers are asking the question: What does the car of the future look like on the inside? With companies like Google, Uber and others racing ahead to develop fully autonomous vehicles, the era of the driver hunched over the steering wheel may eventually give way to a living room on wheels.

For Troy Montpetit, co-owner of Downtowner Car Wash, his business is a family venture that has flourished through three generations and two states. Montpetit’s grandparents opened the first Downtowner in St. Paul, Minnesota in 1978. Then in 2006 they brought the car wash to Cape Coral. That first location on Del Prado Blvd. offers all kinds of services to get cars clean, inside and out. Since then, the family has opened two express car washes on Pine Island Rd. and Cape Coral Parkway.

It used to be that onboarding was a process of just a few days, but new research shows that spending as much as a year helping new employees get up to speed in the workplace is necessary to capitalize on the skills, knowledge and excitement they bring to the organization. What’s more, companies with successful onboarding programs are not just more likely to retain their new hires but even report measurable profit growth.

All of the billionaires, NBA stars, music legends and ultra-performers I personally advise and who show up at my events are "freaks." They just see the world through a very different set of lenses than most people. They have a very different sequence of values. And they have a uniquely different series of personal protocols. And so, like anyone who operates at the highest level of ingenuity, productivity and audacity, they have had to develop a strong interior core that allows them to keep on rising to wow in the face of society calling them strange.
