Congratulations to Jordan Allen, a Delta Sonic employee and Hilton High School student in Rochester, NY, for her selection as this year's Larry Harrell Scholarship recipient.
Allen will receive a $1,000 scholarship to be used toward her continued education. She was selected to receive the scholarship due to her high school academic performance, school honors, community involvement and strong essay on the importance of hard work and kindness.

The distribution arm of the Abu Dhabi National Oil Company, ADNOC Distribution, on Tuesday announced the opening of the new Al Manara service station near Mazyad Mall in Mohammed Bin Zayed city, Abu Dhabi. The new station is equipped with three Islands that include nine dispensers, six of which are allocated for fuel and diesel and another three for natural gas vehicles (NGV).

When I bought my very first new car, a little Mazda 323, I was thrilled with the gas mileage. I celebrated it by putting a bumper sticker on it that read "Earth Day Every Day." When did I begin taking that for granted? I am a huge recycler.
