International Carwash Association recently received a report from a member car wash company of a multiple car pile up on their conveyor due to the lead car's transmission computer locking up and forcing the car into park. A local Chrysler dealer responded that there appeared to be a computer malfunction and that if the transmission computer locks up, you have to turn the car off and let it sit while it reboots. Otherwise, there is a release lever to the right of the shift handle under a tray that, when pulled up, releases the transmission from the computer and forces it into neutral. Huffington PostSmart marketers will embrace mobile. They'll deliver useful, relevant brand messages with context, driving more customers to store, more eyeballs on the season premiere, or increase purchase of their new menu items. Their ads won't look anything like right-rails or mobile banners, and they won't be measured by CTR. Consumer attention, followed by budgets, are shifting toward mobile, so it's time to consider how the medium should be used, what makes it unique, and how we can prove it's effective.
