Waterway Gas & Wash Co. has filed plans with the city of Clayton in Missouri to invest $400,000 to renovate the existing Clayton Car Wash – which has been open since 1954 – into a Waterway Express Car Wash. Waterway is St. Louis-based company with 26 locations in St. Louis, Chicago, Cleveland, Kansas City and Denver.

The sale of the Quick Quack Car Wash in the Houston metro area represents a cap rate of 5.39%, which is a record-low cap rate for an express car wash net-lease transaction outside of California. Quick Quack Car Wash is a fast-growing chain of self-serve exterior-only express car wash locations that first opened its doors in 2004 in Sacramento.

The Woodstock City Council in Georgia granted a conditional use permit for Big Dan’s Car Wash. The wash is slated to be a 4,300-square-foot drive-through automated car wash with 34 self-service vacuum stations.

The board of directors of GO Car Wash has named Joe McDonald as Director of Corporate Development and Chris Andersen as Vice President of Business Development. McDonald and Andersen collectively bring more than 20 years of experience in the car wash and auto industries. Both were hired to help continue GO’s rapid expansion across the United States.
